Electronically and Independently Controllable Quadrature Sinusoidal Oscillator with Low Output Impedances

This work presents the quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using two Voltage Differencing-Differential Input Buffered Amplifiers (VD-DIBAs), resistors, and capacitors. The VD-DIBA is an electronically controllable active building block with high input low output impedances that can connect to other circuits directly without buffers. With these distinguished features, employed in this design. proposed produce sine waves a phase shift of 90 degrees. Over entire tuning frequency range, magnitude voltages constant. independently adjustable terms oscillation condition. Moreover, be linearly adjusted by bias currents. condition R_1 R_2. performances are tested through PSpice simulation experiment. In simulation, built from 0.18um Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) CMOS process +-0.9V supply voltages. experiment, implemented commercial ICs, LM13700, AD830 +-5V simulated Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) values voltages, V_o1 V_o2 at f_0 = 1.03MHz 1.63% 1.81%, respectively. experimental THD 536.6kHz, 1.43% 1.00%,
